This is a full application and is accompanied by a separate Planning and Regeneration Support Statement, Environmental Assessment and other supporting reports, details and plans. The description for this full application is as follows: “To extract, stock and remove 1.0 million m3 (1.35 million tonnes) of coal slurry from the former lagoon and to remodel, restore and prepare the former colliery spoil heap and adjoining land to provide an alternative landform and development platforms and construction of open space, two football pitches (1 full size, 1 training) and associated facilities, ecological mitigation ponds and habitat, access ways, footpaths, landscaping and associated works”.
